SistaNomics was created by women who understand the power of community, the necessity of healing, and the importance of building wealth with intention.
We are visionaries, storytellers, and advocates for Black women’s empowerment — each bringing her own lived truth, professional expertise, and passion for helping women rise.
Our mission is simple:
To give Black women the tools, confidence, and community to rewrite the rules and build the life they truly desire.
Dr. Deana Ervin
Dr. Deana Ervin is a nationally recognized consultant, speaker, and grant strategist who helps organizations and entrepreneurs turn vision into funded strategy. With 30+ years of experience, she has advised major brands like Microsoft, GitHub, Google, and United Way, as well as school districts, universities, churches, and Chambers nationwide.
A former HUD Community Builder and White House Interagency Council advisor, Dr. Deana secured a historic $4 million Congressional appropriation to launch the nation’s first Minority Chamber of Commerce. She has also led major education and youth initiatives, including the W.E.B. DuBois Learning Center and 19 CDF Freedom Schools.
Author of Funded While Black, she has helped organizations secure over $25 million in grants and partnerships. Known as The Capacity-Building Grant Dr., she equips leaders with the strategy, systems, and confidence to scale their purpose and impact.
HBCU proud (PVAMU), a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (MRAC), and named one of Kansas City’s 100 Most Influential, Dr. Deana is driven by one mission: helping people get the resources they need to change the world.

Jacquie Jackson
Jacquie Jackson brings over 30 years of experience in information technology and management, specializing in Agile training, coaching, and organizational transformation. She has led teams across diverse tech and business environments, known for assessing, planning, and guiding complex initiatives with clarity and excellence.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Jacquie is passionate about empowering her community. She promotes financial literacy and previously served as the Chapter President Prairie View Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Jacquie currently contributes her expertise at a major media organization, where she continues to champion innovation, leadership, and service.
